Montgomery police have identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday. According to Sgt. Jarrett Williams, Andre Carroll, 37, was killed with the 2002 Honda Shadow motorcycle he was driving collided with a 2017 Cadillac XTS. Carroll was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Montgomery man has been convicted of murder for a shooting death at a barber shop in 2015. District Attorney Daryl Bailey announced the conviction of Ozzy Osborne, 27, by a Montgomery County Jury on Thursday. The verdict stems from a Sept. 11, 2015 shooting at a barber shop off of Lower Wetumpka Road. Osborne shot 30-year-old Rodrekas Zeigler once in the neck.
Michael R. Stiles, 45, was arrested Wednesday evening at a residence in Leesburg. According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Stiles was indicted by a Cherokee County Grand Jury this week on charges of attempted first-degree rape and sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. The indictment is a result of an investigation conducted by Investigator Jordan Kelley.
Tuscaloosa police say a substitute teacher is jailed on a charge of having a sexual relationship with a student. A statement from police says 54-year-old Meta Lovely of Duncanville surrendered Wednesday. She is being held on $30,000 bond on a charge of having sex with a student less than 19 years old.
Police said an altercation led to a hit-and-run outside a McDonald's in Birmingham Wednesday afternoon. According to Birmingham police, two women were intentionally struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the restaurant on Dennison Avenue. One of the victims was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her condition is unknown at this time.

A Cullman man was indicted for murder by a grand jury Monday. Jason DeWayne Crawford, 38, was booked into jail and later released on a $100,000 bond. It's unknown at this time who Crawford is accused of killing.
A 20-year-old has been charged with manslaughter after an accidental shooting in Dothan. According to Dothan Police, Fisher Shipes is charged with one count of manslaughter following the shooting which happened on Saturday.

Authorities said a prisoner stabbed another inmate to death at an Alabama prison. Alabama Department of Corrections spokesman Bob Horton said in a statement that an inmate fatally stabbed 35-year-old Jeveria Odess McCall at a housing area at Bibb Correctional Facility on Tuesday evening. McCall was hospitalized and later died.
